- Maeci & Gracie met during chemo in 2010 at Riley Children's Hospital in Indiana. Maeci was diagnosed with Hodgkin's Lymphoma Stage IV and Gracie was diagnosed with a rare brain tumor - Oligoastrocytoma. Maeci has been in remission for a year & 1/2. Gracie finished up her chemo, the tumor is stable and will have MRI's every three months. The girls were able to take their Wish trips together. They decided after having such a great time, they wanted to "give back" to other sick kids.

We are only 10 days away from the Maeci & Gracie 2nd Annual “Give Back” a Wish Softball Tournament! Can you believe it’s been a year already? You don’t want to miss out on this fun family day and be a part of granting wishes for very deserving sick kids. Kids who deserve to smile, laugh and ENJOY some fun moments without worrying about the next treatment, blood draw, chemo, scan, MRI, etc. We already have MANY teams registered, but it’s not to late for YOU to grab some buddies and register YOUR team! We need to get the roster ready. The deadline is MAY 12th! HURRY, RUN, JOG, WALK IF YOU HAVE TO BUT HURRY!!! I promise you will not only have a GREAT time but you will walk away feeling BLESSED, sweaty, dirty and stinky but BLESSED!!!

ReplyDeleteI'm 55-year-old from Paris, I was diagnosed with second-stage liver cancer following a scheduled examination to monitor liver cirrhosis. I had lost a lot of weight. A CT scan revealed three tumors; one in the center of my liver in damaged tissue and two in healthy portions of my liver. No chemotherapy or radiotherapy treatment was prescribed due to my age, the number of liver tumors. One month following my diagnosis I began taking 12 (350 point) Salvestrol supplements per day, commensurate with my body weight.
